Requirements for the design

  1. General information

The size of the original article should not exceed 60 thousand characters, including spaces.

The manuscript file should be structured as follows:

On the first page:

  • Title of the manuscript;
  • Type of manuscript (original article, review, polemical notes, letter to the editor, review, translation of an article by a foreign author, other);
  • Information on whether the submitted manuscript was published earlier (in whole or in part);
  • Surname, name and patronymic (if any), place of work of all authors;
  • Contacts of the author, of the corresponding author (e-mail and phone number);
  • Information about the project within the framework of which the manuscript was prepared (if necessary).
  • A substantial annotation (200-250 words) and a list of keywords (at least 5). For book reviews, an annotation (100-150 words) and a list of keywords (at least 5) are also required.

On the second page begins the main text of the manuscript.

After the main text, the following structural elements may follow in the order listed below:

  • acknowledgments (optional);
  • a list of abbreviations (optional);
  • a list of sources (Literature) (compulsory). All sources must be presented in the original language
  • appendices (optional).
  1. Text format

The text is presented in Word (formats .doc, .docx), font - Times New Roman, font size - 12, line spacing -  1.5. The text is fully justified, the indentation is 1 cm; the interval between paragraphs is zero.  Lower and upper margins are 2 cm each, with a left margin of 2.5 cm and a right margin of 1.5 cm. Pages should be numbered.

  1. Table format

Tables, if not placed in a separate appendix, are inserted directly into the text of the manuscript. They should be numbered sequentially and referenced in the main text.

Table names (font - Times New Roman, font size - 12, bold, line spacing  - 1.5, center alignment) are located directly above the table.

Indications of the data sources and notes are placed below the table (font - Times New Roman, font size - 10, italics, line spacing - 1, fully justified.

  1. Figure and graph format

Figures and graphs, if not placed in a separate appendix, are inserted directly into the text of the manuscript. They should be numbered sequentially and referenced in the main text.

Figure and graph names are written under each (font - Times New Roman, font size - 12, bold, line spacing - 1.5, center alignment).

Units of measurement should be indicated in the title of the figure (in the figure’s body, please do not specify the units of measurement).

Reference to data sources and notes are placed under the name of the figure (font - Times New Roman, font size - 10, italics, line spacing - 1, fully justified).

If the article is accepted for publication and contains graphs, the author must submit a file in Microsoft Excel format or another source file with data for all graphs.

Figures (maps, diagrams and other illustrations) are inserted into the text and additionally are provided with files with a resolution of at least 300 dpi in the format * png, * tif, * jpg.

  1. Other format elements

Mathematical formulas are given using the Microsoft Equation 3 formula editor.

The journal uses a system of footnotes; endnotes are not used. The footnotes are typed in Times New Roman, font size 10, line spacing 1; other parameters correspond to the basic text format. If there is a link to the source in the footnotes, the link must be formalized according to the general rules for hyperlinking, and the source should be added to the list of references

References are given using the Harvard bibliographic standard adjusted by the Journal (the complete set of rules are given in Russia).
